a group music listening event

We meet monthly at The Ojai Underground Exchange in Ojai, California and each attendee has two opportunities to share a song with the group as we take turns going around the room.

There is a turntable and a computer connected to streaming services that are available to use.

We generate a playlist of about 30-40 songs depending on how many people are in attendance.

The rules are simple:

1. Bring two songs that touch your soul.

2. Keep your song choices under 8 minutes.

3. Enjoy

There’s no screen to look at. No progress bar to monitor. It’s just 15 or so people listening with intention. It’s awesome. If you can’t make it to Ojai, start one of these in your town.
